Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

Protecting your personal data is a priority. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), this policy describes what data we collect, why, how it is protected, and how you can exercise your rights.

Data controller

Ludivine Gustave Dit Duflo, currently operating as a sole proprietor from Lausanne (Vaud), Switzerland. Contact: hello@ludivinegustave.com

This identity will be updated once a dedicated legal entity is formed, with no changes to the rest of this policy.

Data collected and purposes

Contact form, name, organization (optional), email address, message. Purpose: responding to your contact or speaking inquiry.

Order form, name, email, postal address, message (optional). Purpose: processing your book order and arranging shipment.

Scheduling (Calendly), name, email, time zone, and any information you choose to provide. This feature is handled directly by Calendly Inc., subject to its own privacy policy (calendly.com/privacy).

No banking or payment data is collected or stored on this site: any payment is arranged separately, offline.

Legal basis for processing

The processing described above relies on: your consent, freely given when submitting a form (GDPR art. 6.1.a); the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures, particularly for order processing (GDPR art. 6.1.b); and the legitimate interest in responding to professional inquiries addressed to us (GDPR art. 6.1.f), balanced against your rights and freedoms.

Data recipients

Your data is only shared with providers strictly necessary to deliver the service: Vercel Inc. (site hosting) and Calendly Inc. (scheduling, only if you use this feature). No data is sold, rented, or used for advertising purposes by third parties.

International data transfers

Some providers (Vercel Inc., Calendly Inc.) are based in the United States. These transfers outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and by safeguards recognized by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), intended to ensure an adequate level of protection for your data.

Data retention

Data from contact and order forms is retained for as long as needed to process your request, then for up to 3 years for professional follow-up purposes, unless you request earlier deletion. Data related to an order may be retained longer where a legal or accounting obligation requires it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the nFADP, you have the following rights over your data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection. You may also withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact hello@ludivinegustave.com. We commit to responding within one month.

If you reside in the European Union, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence. In Switzerland, the competent authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch).

Data security

This site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and runs on hosting infrastructure that applies recognized security standards. Appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

Cookies and trackers

This site does not currently use advertising trackers or audience analytics tools. The scheduling feature (Calendly) may set its own technical cookies under its privacy policy. This policy will be updated if an email marketing or analytics tool is added in the future, with your consent collected where required.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
